It is because they were raised that way. Remember when the 'obese gene' was a big deal? Well to put it simply the obese gene is just a genetic factor in how people store excess fat in the diet. If the person is prone to store the fatty foods then they have the obese gene but that isn't what is making them fat. If they had a normal healthy diet they would stay in the healthy weight range. Granted they might be on the higher end of the range but they would still be healthy. So no people are not born naturally obese.

To an extent. It is genetic that some people gain weight faster than others. However I don't think that people are born morbidly obese, perhaps slightly overweight though. Obesity is caused by lack of exercise and a poor diet. Some people are brought up to have bad eating and excersise habits at a young age, so in a sense alot of people are brought up "obese" and can't really help it to much because of how they were raised and can't get out of the habit.

It depends. I have to watch what I eat all the time because I gain weight really easily. My brother on the other hand, is very thin, but eats a ton. Its mostly genetics, but some people have problems that make them want to eat way more than they should, and some were just raised that way.

obesity has no gene. You gain it yourself or have a thyroid problem.
I just gained weight I was a 6lbs baby now Im a 174lb 15 year old girl.
Though if a baby is 9lbs it can lose the weight by just living and rolling around. Though it does depend on how the baby is raised and what it is fed.
